Caesars Magical Empire will host an adult Halloween costume party Saturday, Oct. 30, beginning at 11 p.m. The perfect location for such an event, Caesars Magical Empire features eerie catacombs, mysterious happenings and mischievous spirits. The catacombs will be haunted, and the "spirits" are prepared for an eventful night. A disc jockey will provide music for dancing in a nightclub atmosphere in the Sanctum Secorum rotunda. A costume contest is included with the admission fee, which is priced at $5 with costume and $10 without costume. Beverages will be available at additional cost from both bars. Participants must be at least 21 years old.

The winner of the Best Overall Costume prize will enjoy a two-night stay at Caesars Palace and dinner for two at Caesars Magical Empire. Scariest Costume, Funniest Costume and Most Original Costume winners will be invited to return and enjoy dinner for four at the Palace Court, Empress Court or Caesars Magical Empire.

Ticket sales will be at Caesars Magical Empire box office only (cash or credit card, no checks; no advance sales). Admission will close at 2 a.m. Sunday, with the costume contest judging at 2:30 a.m. The facility will close at 5 a.m. Magical Empire dinner guests Oct. 30 may stay for the party at no extra charge. Free vehicle parking will be available in Caesars' covered parking garage.

Caesars Magical Empire is an elaborately themed, multi-chambered dining and magical wonderland that presents mystery, fine dining, grand-scale illusions and delightful fun in awe-inspiring surroundings reminiscent of Caesar's world 2,000 years ago. The facility features 10 dining chambers of the gods, Catacomb Maze, Sultan's Palace theatre, Secret Pagoda theatre, Grotto Bar, Spirit Bar, Forbidden Crypt of Ramses, Sanctum Secorum and Caesars Magical Empire store.

Flanking the Sanctum Secorum are two relaxing, if not always predictable, beverage lounges -- adult retreats for spirited libation. The Grotto Bar nestles in a dragon's mouth cave, where guests are entertained by Invisibella, an invisible pianist who plays requests. Nearby is a pair of wisecracking skeletons, Habeus and Corpus. Above the Grotto Bar, the casino's central people mover carries unsuspecting Las Vegas Boulevard pedestrians by the dragon's eyes for a glimpse of the rotunda display. At the opposite side of the Sanctum Secorum is the Spirit Bar. The Spirit Bar is haunted by a mysterious poltergeist, Maximus Maven (looking very much like world-renowned mentalist Max Maven), who enjoys spooking unwary guests with interactive magical wonders. Beverages at the bars are sold separately.

Nowhere in Caesars Magical Empire are things always as they seem. During dinner service and throughout the entire facility, mysterious happenings amaze and delight.

Caesars Magical Empire welcomes visitors age 5 and older for dinner and entertainment 4:30 to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Caesars Magical Empire tickets are priced at $75.50; children ages 5 to 10 years are charged half-price. Tickets include a three-course dinner (salad, choice of four entrees, wine, tea or soft drinks, dessert and coffee), exploration through the facility, live magical entertainment in two theatres, Luminaria show, taxes and gratuity. Free tours of the subterranean adventure are available every half-hour from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday (no tours Oct. 29-30). A $10 discount is available to tour participants for early (4:30 - 5:20 p.m.) dinner seatings.
