Warning...Don Learned has entered the building. The indefatigable comedian headlines the Riviera Comedy Club for seven uproarious nights, beginning Monday, March 11. Just knowing Learned is on property can lead to sidesplitting, uncontrollable laughter.

Don Learned gives the impression that he is either a comedian or a Congressman, giving audiences his unique perspectives on life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. No matter how many times you've caught his act, "now" is the perfect time to catch it again, the comedian who has been married "too many times."

For Learned, life before comedy included jobs selling insurance and cars, so his views on everything from TV to neighbors to stupid products, leaves the audiences holding their sides, their keys and their wallets.

Audiences have enjoyed his work at Houston's Laff Stop, Punchline, The Comedy Showcase, A good Humor Bar and Lubbock's Foggy Bottoms Comedy Club, as well as Sanford and Son's in Kansas City and Little Rock, Arkansas.

Learned has opened for Joan Rivers, Phyllis Diller, David Brenner, Englebert Humperdink and Sam Kinison.

Appearing with Don are funny men Dean Lewis and Patrick Candelaria.

Dean Lewis is a seasoned pro. His humor focuses on modern relationship problems and takes an unorthodox view on topics ranging from college life to soap operas. Lewis' refreshing points of view have been heard as part of his opening acts for Dennis Miller, Bobcat Goldthwait, Paula Poundstone and Paul Rodriguez.

Patrick Candelaria's quick, natural wit and easy-going nature have made him into one of the Southwest's favorite comics. His international exposure has put him on the verge of being the next rising comedy star.

Aside from being named "Texas' Top Latino Comic" by Hispanic Magazine in August, 1997, Candelaria has twice toured war-torn Yugoslavia, including Bosnia, Croatia and Macedonia. He annually tours U.S. military bases in Japan and Korea.

Having performed in most of the top clubs in California, Texas and Arizona, Candelaria has opened for Tommy Chong, George Lopez, Judy Tenuta, Paul Rodriguez, Paulie Shore, Sherman Hemsley, amongst many others.
